9. PT worked with the Family Economic Advancement Programme(FEAP), the Raw Materials Research  and Development Council and some of the River Basin

Authorities in Projects related to:

(i) mining
(ii) raw materials improvement
(iii) water delivery
(iv) agriculture and trading
(v) infrastructure & logistics
(vi) equipment design and fabrication.

PT has made fundamental plans to enter into power generation and distribution,

 coal briquetting and the continuous mechanization of its mines.

 

 

10.  PT will set up four quarries in different parts of the country in 2008 and 2009,

Two will be i will be foreign technical partners while two will be 100% projects.

11. PT is in talks with different sets of potential foreign technical partners for the mining of the following minerals from company owned mines; tin, columbite, tantalite, lignite, lead

 and Zinc.

12.  Plans are almost concluded for the establishment of an integrated building

materials manufacturing plants to be built beginning 2008.
